Welcome to the Services Department The Services Department consists of six areas:  Building Services North and South; Support Services and Sanitation; Automotive Center; Materials Requisition; and the Warehouse.  The Services Department is the largest department within Physical Plant with a staff of 500+ employees.  We are a service organization which meets the needs of our faculty, staff, and students. Building Services North & South – Our custodial services are top notch at keeping our campus buildings beautiful! Support Services Automotive Center Materials Requisition - Provides in house purchasing for Physical Plant's supplies and materials. Supplies & Materials/Warehouse – The primary function of Physical Plant's warehouse is to purchase, receive, stock, and release supplies to the UGA community in areas of: electrical, plumbing, paint, automotive, general construction, general maintenance, and custodial.  The current inventory consists of over 3500 active line items worth over $1 million dollars.

UGA IS CIMS CERTIFIED, WITH HONORS!:
UGA has completed the certification process for Cleaning Industry Management Standard and is now certified, with honors! We are the first school EVER to have a GREEN program that is certified under these standards! Way to go UGA!
